Art Basel Miami Beach
Art Basel Miami is the largest and most prominent contemporary art show in the country if not the continent, and the epicenter of a series of satellite events, exhibitions, parties, fairs throughout the city, indoor and outdoor, all revolving on what has now become the Miami Art Week.
On this first week of December, the art world converges in Miami... a definite must for contemporary art lovers.
Art Deco Weekend
The Annual Art Deco Weekend in South Beach, is one huge street party and definitely the place to be with all happening along Ocean Drive in the backdrop of some of the most striking art deco architecture.
Come for the parades dogs and all, the arts, crafts and antiques, the food, the classic cars, or simply to people watch and enjoy our gorgeous January weather.
Miami International Boat Show
The latest and greatest in Boating, Fishing, Sailing, Diving... Cruising Boats, Racing Boats, Sailing Boats, Catamarans, Power Boats, Mega Yachts... some serious boat eye candy all in lovely South Florida weather, definitely a "do not miss" event specially for boating enthusiasts, and where would you rather be in February?!
This is quite an impressive 5-day event in February, spread out over three magnificent venues. The "trade show" part is held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the in-water shows at Sea Isle Marina and Miamarina at Bayside.
Best part, the ON-WATER hands on learning events, for beginners and seasoned skippers. A one-hour Discover Boating session is only $15.
Coconut Grove Art Festival
Ranked one of the Top 5 Art Fairs in America, the Coconut Grove Art Festival is a weekend filled with live music, exquisite food, fun outdoor entertainment, and art, art, art... all in the backdrop of one of Miami's most beautiful waterfront settings.
Traditionally held on President's Day Weekend same as the Miami Boat Show.
Miami Open Tennis
Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Venus and Serena, Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal... all in Miami for an electrifying two weeks of tennis, delightful weather, celebrity galore, and if that's not enough, a brand new world-class venue equipped with great food and facilities at the newly built Tennis complex of Hard Rock Stadium.
