June in Miami is typically Miami Film Month featuring all from niche indies to internationally renowned and critically-acclaimed films. This year however the city has instead brought another Miami favorite forward: Miami Spice is back for 4 amazing and delectable months!
The usual repertoire of class acts in the entertainment arena as well as sport events are being postponed. It is still too early to open for large scale events.
But summer is here and there is plenty of outdoor activities to keep us busy. The beaches are sizzling and set to reopen on June 8, 2020. Turtle nesting season is upon us. If you are heading out to the beaches, please pay attention to nesting areas.
Temperatures are picking up but we can always count on our daily 5-minute afternoon thunderstorm to freshen up the day. Don't forget your sun protection, drink plenty of fluids and adhere to the rules to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
It is also the start of the Atlantic Hurricane season which runs from the beginning of June as late as November.

About our sea turtles and nesting on South Florida beaches
Sea turtle nesting season is here, if you are heading out to the beaches, please pay attention to nesting areas, they will be ropped off and clearly marked, avoid getting near these areas or trampling on the eggs!
Sea turtles nest mostly after dark, females emerge from the water in search for a spot to lay their eggs. They need their peace and quiet, give them a wide berth.
It is against the law to disturb turtles, nesting or otherwise, their eggs and their hatchlings!

Inter Miami CF Soccer Schedule June 2020 Home Games and Tickets
Inter Miami plans to launch its first two MLS seasons in Fort Lauderdale at Lockhart Stadium. The site has been transformed and by the time it is all done with an 18,000-capacity stadium, it will hold the team's permanent training complex plus over 30 acres of green space to include amenities such as youth soccer fields, a park and a community center.
Inter Miami CF is designing a festival open to all fans prior to each home match. Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.
