We are kicking off the year with an array of outdoor festivals and exciting entertainment, January is the perfect time to get out and enjoy the marvelous weather, there's much to keep us all busy this month!
This month's top events include the Art Deco Weekend, the South Beach Jazz Festival, and the Miami Beach Antique Show as two sparkly events NightGarden and Luminosa come to a close. In the entertainment sphere, Billy Joel and Celine Dion are in town, Aladdin opens this month and Steve Martin performs at Hard Rock Live at the newly-open guitar-shaped hotel.
Sports fans won't be dissapointed, the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers are well underway on their regular seasons and the anticipation builds for Super Bowl LIV which will take place on February 2nd at Hard Rock Stadium with many Super Bowl events, festivals and celebrations to kick off at the end of this month.
For our nature lovers, this is the perfect time to get out and soak it all up, our State and National Parks are teeming with wildlife, enjoy!

Art Deco Weekend
Hosted by the Miami Design Preservation League, the Art Deco Weekend is a tribute to the Art Deco era and involves a series of
top notch events over this three-day weekend including Classic Cars, the Parade, Fashion Shows, children's performances, Films and Lectures, Live Music, Antiques, Street Festivals and more.
In addition, the League sponsors an array of great specialty tours offered uniquely during the weekend.

South Beach Jazz Festival
A jazz festival unlike any other, the South Beach Jazz Festival will take pride in featuring talented musicians with disabilities.
The festival takes place throughout various venues on Miami Beach, and will be
a combination of ticketed concerts as well as free performances open to the public.

The Original Miami Beach Antique Show
The Original Miami Beach Antique Show plays host to nearly 700 domestic and international vendors of antiques, art, furniture, home décor, vintage fashion, jewelry, watches, silver and collectables.

Fairchild's International Chocolate Festival
Calling all chocolate lovers! This weekend is all about chocolate at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens.
Featuring cooking demonstrations and samplings as well as lots of activities for kids, learn how chocolate is made and hundreds of ways to cook with chocolate.

Super Bowl 54 Events in Miami January 25 - February 2, 2020
It is no accident that the Super Bowl has been held a record 11 times in our city, after all, where would you rather be in February? Sunny South Florida provides the perfect backdrop for a week of exciting outdoor events, parties and celebrations that go beyond the football, Superbowl LIV to be held at Hard Rock Stadium on February 2 promises to deliver in all fronts.
Plans for this fantastic week have been underway for quite a while, details are still trickling in but Downtown Miami will be the epicenter of the happenings with the Super Bowl Live Fan Festival the free public event which will be held in Bayfront Park a week prior to game day.
And there will be many other highlight events happening throughout South Florida including at the Miami Beach Convention Center which will turn into a Super Bowl Theme Park to host the NFL Experience, Taste of the NFL, a strolling wine and food event at the Broward Convention Center, the exclusive MAXIM Havana Nights mega party in Virginia Key and many many more.

Luminosa! Festival of Lights at Jungle Island
A Chinese Lantern Festival with a very Miami tropical twist! Taking place in Jungle Island where 13 acres of the park's environs will be decked out with humongous brightly lit silk lanterns featuring four different themes portraying the diverse animal and plant life found in the park. Miami Design District Free Outdoor Concerts
The Miami Design District Performance Series kicks off in the fall and is a fantastic chance to enjoy live FREE outdoor concerts, our marvelous weather as it starts to cool off all wrapped in a fantastic South Florida atmosphere. The events are put together by the Knight Foundation, Design District developer Craig Robins and our very own Emilio Estefan and are free for all to enjoy. (THANK YOU!!!!)
The season normally starts in October and runs through the Holidays. Taking the stage on Friday evenings are performers in all sorts of genres from classical, pop, salsa... last year we had Gloria Gaynor, Jose Luis Rodriguez (El Puma), the Miami Symphony Orchestra... it's an eclectic bunch and regardless of who appears at Palm Court, it is always an enjoyable evening and a great way to kick start your weekend. And did I mention it's FREE?!!!

New World Symphony WALLCAST® Concerts
These are live classical music performances by the New World Symphony which are projected into a 7,000 square-foot wall at the New World Center for thousands to enjoy in a fantastic outdoor atmosphere.
The concerts are typically on the third Saturday of the month and the season runs from October through May.
New for the 2019-2020 season, WALLCAST® Concerts will utilize 4K Ultra High Definition visual technology for projections on the wall at the New World Center.
