This month brings us to West Palm Beach for SunFest, the annual waterfront music and arts bash that needs no introduction.
Then we head south to Homestead for the largest Orchid show in the country.
Don't forget Mother's Day and to finish off the month, the National Salute to America's Heroes is back, a fantastic Air & Sea Show and Music Explosion on Memorial Day weekend.

SunFest Music and Arts Festival - May 3 - 6, 2018
Every year in the spring, the West Palm Beach waterfront becomes the stage of a gigantic party, a weekend with a full lineup of top musical acts, a Fine Art and Crafts competition and exhibition, a 5k race and a stupendous fireworks display on the final day.
This year's performances taking place on three stages will include some great names as it has in the past. The 2018 lineup features Pitbull, Billy Idol, Nick Jonas, KC and the Sunshine Band, Olivia O'Brien, 311 and many, many, MANY more!

Brew At The Zoo - Miami's Largest Craft Beer Festival
More than 100 craft beers, food vendors, and live performances. This year will feature musical performances by Patrick and the Swayzees, Inna Sense and Bachaco.

Rolling Loud - The Largest Hip-Hop Festival in the World
The largest Hip-Hop festival in the world now only on its 4th year, it has managed to attract some of the best rap lineups ever curated.

Redland International Orchid Show - May 18 - 20, 2018
Over 50 booths of colorful blooms at this 3-day event which features the largest annual orchid show in the country.
Along with the beautiful and exotic flowers there will be supplies for sale, lectures by experts in the field, raffles and a great atmosphere to enjoy all sorts of international delicacies.

Surfside's First Ever Paddletopia Festival
May 19 - 20, 2018
This groovy two-day affair will transform the 96th Street waterfront park in Miami's Uptown Beachtown into a weekend-long festival with paddle boarding, wellness brands, fitness demos, healthy snacks and family activities.
Paddletopia will feature stand-up paddle boarding along the intracoastal including complimentary paddle boards in partnership with Miami Beach Paddle Board and kayaks available to the public at a pop-up dock on the waterway bordering the park.
There will be a wellness expo with fitness classes and family boot camp, eco-fashion shows, live DJ, "chill out" lounges and much more. Stay fueled with healthy fare available for purchase from a retrofitted vintage trailer, as well as free smoothie and juice samples and more.
Activities for the kids will include an eco-friendly ball pit, a graffiti "train" where children can decorate an inflatable subway car, and a fishing pond. Participants can also enter into contests for a chance to win neat prizes and giveaways.

Memorial Day Weekend: Miami Beach Air & Sea Show and Music Explosion
May 26 - 27, 2018
There is no better time to pay tribute to our military, first responders and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country than Memorial Day Weekend, and in this spirit, the National Salute to America's Heroes initiative will take place on our sandy shores with all five branches of the military represented: The Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines and the Coast Guard as well as our police, firefighters and first responder agencies.
